As a rule of thumb, a husband does not want to make his wife angry with him. However, for Paul Wayne Stout, both of his wives are upset with him, according to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office.

  • Stout facing $1,500 bond

On Thursday morning, deputies charged the 49-year-old Stout with bigamy after both of his wives agreed to file charges against him, according to Brittany Kershaw, public affairs officer with the Sheriff's Office.

It all started in 1996 when Stout married a woman in Indianapolis, but when the two separated in 2005, their marriage was never dissolved, Kershaw explained.

The first wife discovered through a Facebook post that Stout married another woman in 2013 and she went to the Sheriff's Office to file charges against him, stated Kershaw in a news release.

However, during the course of the investigation, the Sheriff's Office got in contact with his second wife and she stated that she did not know Stout was still legally married, according to Kershaw, who added that the second wife wanted to file charges against her husband.

In addition, in 2015, Stout became a registered sex offender for having some type of recordings of sexual conduct of a child, stated Kershaw. Because of this, Stout is being supervised by the Florida Department of Corrections.

Stout is currently at the Flagler County Detention Facility with a $1,500 bond, continued Kershaw.
