It was a cold start to the day with most of Central Florida’s temperatures dropping into the 30s. With plenty of sunshine, we were able to warm up quite a bit for the afternoon.

Temperatures will briefly warm up for Tuesday as a dry front moves in and winds switch to the south. The front will drop south Wednesday, knocking temperatures back down.

Clear skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be cold, but slightly warmer than Monday morning. Lows will fall into the upper 30s to low 40s as we head toward daybreak.

We’ll see plenty of sunshine for our Tuesday, although there will be a few clouds in the afternoon as a dry front moves in.

Winds will also pick out of the south-southwest during Tuesday afternoon. This will allow for high temperatures to warm into the mid to low 70s.

This warm up will be short-lived as the front drops south Wednesday. Highs will fall back into the low 60s Wednesday afternoon.

The front will drop south Wednesday, knocking temperatures back down.

With the front rolling in, ocean conditions will be rough as winds pick up. Expect an elevated rip current threat and choppy waters.
