A Brevard County group has collected tens of thousands of pounds of supplies for Puerto Rico hurricane victims, but it's still looking for a way to get it all there.

  • Puerto Rico donations sitting at Melbourne airport
  • United Third Bridge has more than 100,000 pounds of supplies
  • Group is seeking a cargo plane to get it all there

United Third Bridge of Melbourne began collecting donations days after Hurricane Maria struck.

Right now, it has more than 100,000 pounds of food, water, diapers, formula and toiletry items sitting in a warehouse at Orlando Melbourne International Airport.

But since it has gathered so much, the group needs a cargo plane to fly it all there.

"The main thing right now is a plane — and whatever help the county and the people are willing to provide," said Samantha Nazario of United Third Bridge.

If you would like to help with the plane or donate more, call Nazario at 321-557-4470.
