We dealt with some thick fog early Wednesday morning as temperatures dropped into the mid to low 60s for most. Once the fog burned off, we saw partly sunny skies for the afternoon as temperatures warmed to around 80 degrees.

Dry air moved into Central Florida and allowed for only a few showers, but rain chances will pick back up for Thanksgiving and low pressure moves across the state.

Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours, although clouds will increase as we head toward daybreak.

A few showers will be possible, along with some areas of fog. Temperatures will fall into the mid to low 60s.

Low pressure will move toward Central Florida Thursday, bringing a lot of moisture. This will allow for a decent chance for showers and even a few storms for Thanksgiving.

Some of the storms could be on the strong side with gusty wind and lightning. With the clouds and rain around, highs will only reach into the mid-70s.

Rain chances remain high through Friday before sunshine returns this weekend. Temperatures following the low pressure will drop into the low 70s by Sunday.

In the tropics, no development is expected. The season ends Nov. 30.

If heading to the beach for the holiday, surf conditions will be decent, but watch for developing storms and choppy waters with higher wind gusts.

There is also a moderate rip current threat.
