It’s been a quiet and pleasant Monday evening across Central Florida, but changes are ahead overnight.

Clouds will continue to increase as our next storm system enters the region. Overnight lows will be in the low to mid 60s, with 50s in Marion County.

Increasing rain chances are on the way starting Tuesday. A large and slow-moving storm system will move toward Florida, bringing mostly cloudy skies and scattered showers and storms. Highs for Tuesday will be in the mid-70s.

Rain will likely impact much of the area for the big travel day on Wednesday. Mostly cloudy skies will also continue, with scattered showers across much of the Peninsula. Temperaturess for Wednesday will be in the mid-70s.

Thanksgiving still looks cloudy and wet, with rain chances actually increasing. Expect periods of rain for the holiday with highs in the mid to upper 70s.

The pesky storm system will begin to exit for Black Friday, but clouds and scattered showers will remain, especially along the coast. Highs for Friday will be in the mid-70s.

Better weather finally returns for the back end of the holiday weekend, with sunshine and highs in the 70s.

In the tropics, all remains quiet in the Gulf of Mexico, Caribbean and the Atlantic. No major issues are expected over the next five days.

Hurricane season ends on November 30.

A Small Craft Caution will continue for Tuesday, with winds 10-15 knots and seas 4-5 feet.

Surfers will find poor conditions with an east-northeast windswell.

The rip current threat will remain moderate on Tuesday.
