A St. Cloud police officer was hit while conducting a traffic stop Sunday around 12:15 a.m.

Police said the officer was attempting to conduct a traffic stop in the area of Cypress Grove Court.
The suspect vehicle fled the traffic stop and struck the officer. Police said the officer fired at the vehicle and struck the driver's side window.
Police said the suspect continued to drive recklessly and jumped from the moving vehicle in the area of Cypress Forrest Lane, where it struck a parked vehicle.
The officer received minor injuries from the incident and police are still searching for the suspect.
