A 22-year-old driver was killed after hitting a tree Saturday night off SW 7th Ave. Road and SW 45th Street.

The crash occurred around 9:40 p.m. Saturday in Marion County.
Troopers said a Toyota Tacoma was traveling north on SW 7th Avenue Road when it drifted to the west across the southbound lane and collided with a large tree trunk that was lying next to the road.
After the vehicle hit the tree, troopers said the car overturned, landing on the roof of the car.
The driver, Justin Delaney, 22, was transported to Ocala Regional Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased.
The Florida Highway Patrol continues to investigate the crash.
