For the third time, SpaceX has postponed the planned launch this week of a Falcon 9 rocket from Kennedy Space Center.

The company stated this on Twitter:

The rocket was set to lift off at 8 p.m. from KSC's historic Launch Pad 39A. The launch was originally scheduled for Wednesday and pushed to Thursday to allow more prep time, SpaceX said. On Thursday, the company said, “We have decided to stand down and take a closer look at data from recent fairing testing for another customer."

The Falcon 9 launch will carry the Zuma satellite, though SpaceX has kept mum on what the Zuma's purpose is.

SpaceX intends to try to land the first stage of the booster rocket at Cape Canaveral Air Force Station.

On the West Coast, the launch of a United Launch Alliance Delta II rocket that had scheduled for Wednesday is now set to go up Saturday from Vandenberg Air Force Base in California. The launch time for the rocket, carrying a weather satellite for NASA and the NOAA, is 4:47 a.m. ET.
