Central Florida experienced a windy Tuesday with a slight chance of rain, mixed in with partly sunny skies.

High pressure in the Ohio Valley and weak low pressure near the Turks and Caicos had us in a squeeze play Tuesday afternoon, funneling in an onshore, gusty flow and scattered showers.

We even had a few really good downpours move onshore and across I-95.  Some isolated showers made it inland, although most dried up before getting anywhere close to I-4. We’ll keep isolated coastal showers in the forecast overnight and a slim chance Wednesday too.

High pressure builds our way tomorrow through Saturday, giving us plenty of sunshine and mild temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s.

A stronger cold front sweeps in Saturday night with a slight shower chance, then cooler air Sunday and Monday.

In the tropics, a disturbance near the Azores is slowly weakening and will have no impacts on the U.S.
