The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office is conducting checks at the homes of registered sex offenders ahead of Halloween.

The Sheriff’s Office said the visits are to ensure the offenders are follow all the rules and restrictions related to the holiday.
“There are strict rules for sex offenders in order to make sure everyone stays safe,” said Sheriff Rick Staly. “Halloween is a fun holiday for children and families and we want to make it as safe as possible.”
Flagler County has 105 registered sex offenders, according to authorities. Twenty-one of those offenders have sanctions preventing them from handing out candy or leaving their porch lights on during Halloween. Deputies will be visiting their homes on Tuesday.
A list of the 21 sex offenders is included below. Deputies are urging residents to avoid visiting these addresses on Halloween.
