Pulse-affiliated groups in Orlando will hold a vigil Tuesday night for the victims and survivors of the Las Vegas shooting.

The solidarity vigil is scheduled for 6 p.m. in front of the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts.

The vigil is being planned by the One Orlando Alliance, an organization established in the wake of the Pulse nightclub attack representing several LGBTQ groups.

“We were deeply touched by the heartfelt outpouring of support from Las Vegas following the Pulse nightclub tragedy. We stand ready to assist the people of Las Vegas as they navigate the aftermath of this tragedy and begin the healing process,” a statement from One Orlando Alliance said.

The city has arranged for free parking at the City Commons and SunTrust building garages for the vigil.

On Monday night, a small group gathered at Lake Eola to support the victims of the Las Vegas tragedy. In the crowd were two Pulse survivors and a former employee of Pulse nightclub.

“For all of us, it took us back, it took us right back to June 12," said Enakai, a former Pulse employee of the Orlando mass shooting last year.

“All we hear is the shots going off and people running. We just held each other like, oh my God, and it took us back..." said India Godman, a Pulse survivor.

And although the mass shooting showed the worst in one person, it also brought out the best in the masses, unifying Americans, Enakai said.

“Those affected in the Boston bombing came down the first week of our crisis and helped some of us go through what they already went through, so we are looking to pay that forward," Enakai said. "We are looking to take a trip to Vegas and see what we can do to help over there."

The survivors firmly believe they have something to share to everyone effected in Las Vegas.

"If it’s just a hug, holding their hand, we can truly, truly identify to hear shots and not know where they are coming from, and seeing people drop, we just know that feeling," Godman said.

This group plans to go to Las Vegas to help families and survivors.

They are just starting to work out those details.
