Update: (1:28 p.m.) Officials say Paul Powell has been found safe.
Original: The Marion County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing/endangered man.
Paul Douglas Powell, 49, was last seen on Oct. 27 at his home located at 9895 SW 151 Place in the Florida Highlands area.
Officials said before Powell left his home, he made statements that have law enforcement concerned for his well-being.
Officials believe Powell is likely a threat to himself and potentially to others. Powell is also believed to be on foot, and was last seen wearing blue jeans and a blue and cream colored polo shirt with golf clubs printed on it.
If anyone has information on his whereabouts, deputies say to not approach him, but to call 911.
