Brittany Bonin faces 5 charges, including aggravated battery on a law enforcement officer, tampering with a witness, and arson.
Capt. Cliff Williams intervened Saturday night when a neighbor’s fight spilled onto his property and took a knife to the lower back when he shielded a man from a woman who was trying to stab him.
Williams was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Officials said Bonin is also accused of setting fire to the house where the fight started.
A judge ordered Bonin to be placed on suicide watch with no bond, pending the review of a psych evaluation.
Bonin is also ordered not to have contact with the victims.
Officials said a judge will expedite the evaluation and review her bond status next week.
