The rain showers have faded away across much of the area this evening, and mostly dry conditions should prevail through early morning.

  • Cloudy, humid conditions overnight
  • Temps to fall to the 70s
  • Cold front to move in Tuesday

Expect mostly cloudy and humid conditions overnight, with lows in the mid 70s. An isolated shower is possible in south Brevard, but the majority of the region will stay dry.

Rain chances will continue heading into the start of the work week. A cold front will near the area, bringing clouds and a decent chance for scattered showers and even a few storms. Highs for Monday will be in the mid 80s.

The cold front will arrive on Tuesday, with more scattered showers likely. Clouds may clear late in the day, with highs in the mid 80s with breezy conditions.

Behind the front, the coolest air of the season will descend across the area. We’ll see mostly sunny skies for Wednesday with highs only in the low 70s. Winds will also be gusty at times. Overnight lows will tumble into the upper 50s.

The comfortable air mass will hang around for much of next week, with highs in the 70s and lows in the 60s. Rain chances may return heading into next weekend.

In the tropics, we are now watching a possible system developing next week in the Caribbean. The system would attempt to move northward but there is high uncertainty about any complex developing at all. The system has a low chance of development.

Elsewhere, no major activity is expected over the next 5 days.
