Here's your Central Florida area weather forecast for Friday evening through the weekend and into next week.

We got to see more sunshine for our Friday as drier air pushed any isolated showers into Brevard and Osceola County.

We’ll be looking at mainly clear skies overnight, as lows slip into the upper 60s and lower 70s. Another dry day with a stray shower Saturday, then rain chances increase Sunday well ahead of the next front.

We’ll leave rain chances at a bare minimal 20 percent again Saturday, then increase them to 50 percent Sunday through Tuesday as moisture streams into the area ahead of a sharp cold front.

Highs are set to climb back into mid-80s to upper 80s the next several days as well. The front is set to sweep in Tuesday night, dragging much cooler and drier air with it.

Highs actually dip into the mid-70s by Wednesday and Thursday, with lows in the crisp 50s area wide late next week.

In the tropics, all is quiet and will remain so for at least the next five to seven days.

Marine Forecast

Conditions won’t improve much along the east coast this week, with poor swimming and surf conditions.

An onshore flow and east northeast wind swell will create choppy conditions, even with wave heights running four to six feet. The rip current threat is forecast to stay moderate to high. Sea surface temps are steady between 80 and 82.
