  • Threats received at Jewish centers in several other states

The community center was one of several across the country that received a bomb threat, though authorities do not know yet whether they are linked.

Officials evacuated the campus in Maitland after the bomb threat was called in, including a school, community center, Holocaust museum and offices of the Jewish Federation of Greater Orlando.

Law enforcement officials said bomb threats were also received at the Miami Beach Jewish Community Center, the Alper Jewish Community Center in Miami-Dade and the Jewish Community Alliance of Jacksonville.

Authorities have also reported bomb threats at Jewish centers in Nashville, Tennessee; Wilmington, Delaware; Tenafly, New Jersey; Columbia, South Carolina and Rockville and Baltimore, Maryland.

No explosives were found at any of the centers.

There were online reports from multiple agencies about bomb threats in others states, as well as in the United Kingdom. It's not immediately clear whether any of these are linked.

Last week on Wednesday, threats were called into the Maitland center and the Chabad Center for Jewish Life on Sand Lake Road in Orlando. The Chabad Center received a second threat on Thursday.

Maitland police also investigated a bomb threat at the Maitland center on Jan. 26, 2016.
