One of two people found dead on the side of Interstate 4 with their kids still inside their SUV tested "presumptive positive" for the presence of drugs, according to an autopsy performed Tuesday.

The autopsy did not reveal signs of trauma on either Daniel or Heather Kelsey, and no official causes of death were immediately determined, the Volusia County Sheriff's Office spokesman Andrew Gant said Thursday.

The Sheriff's Office will not yet say who tested positive for which drugs, and a full toxicology test will need to be administered to definitively determine the cause of death of the couple.

The Kelseys — 32-year-old Daniel and his 30-year-old wife, Heather — and their SUV were found on the side of eastbound I-4 in Volusia County at about 2 a.m. New Year's Eve. Their three children, ranging in age from 8 months old to 4 years old, were found unharmed inside the SUV.
