A person in a wheelchair was killed after a vehicle hit two pedestrians on North Orange Avenue, Orlando Police said.
The crash happened on North Orange Avenue and King Street late Wednesday afternoon.
Orlando Police said a woman was pushing a man in a wheelchair in the crosswalk. A vehicle that was turning a corner hit the wheelchair. The man in the wheelchair was pronounced dead at the scene. The woman is being treated for her injuries at a hospital.
The driver stayed at the scene, police said.
North Orange is currently closed between Winter Park and Evans Streets, in front of Florida Hospital, while police investigate the crash.
