Florida's senior senator is making plain which of President Trump's cabinet nominees he will vote for, and which he won't.

Sen. Bill Nelson, D-Florida, says he is voting against Rep. Mike Pompeo for the position of CIA director. The U.S. Senate voted on that Monday night.

Nelson says he will also vote against the nominations of Rex Tillerson for Secretary of State and Sen. Jeff Sessions for Attorney General.

Nelson did not give a reason why.

Nelson, who is the ranking Democrat on the Senate Commerce Committee, says he will vote in favor of Wilbur Ross for Commerce Secretary and Elaine Chao for Secretary of Transportation when those votes come up in the committee Tuesday.

Nelson is also on the Armed Services Committee and the Finance Committee. On Tuesday the Finance Committee will hold its hearing on Health and Human Services Secretary nominee Thomas Price.
