Hundreds of photos released by the City of Orlando on Tuesday afternoon show, for the first time, the interior of Pulse nightclub in the wake of the massacre.

The more than 400 pictures, evidence released as part of public record, show debris scattered throughout the inside of the nightclub and bullet-riddled walls. Large holes in the wall of a bathroom show where Orlando Police broke through to release hostages.

Other pictures in the cache of pictures depict aerial scenes above Pulse, as well as the helmet of an Orlando SWAT officer whose equipment saved his life after he was shot.

The shooting remains under criminal investigation by the FBI, but it agreed to allow Orlando to release of the photos, the city said.
