An Orlando man is accused of killing his wife and then trying to cover up the crime by making posts on her Facebook page, according to the Orlando Police Department.

An arrest affidavit states 42-year-old George Joseph McShane was arrested Tuesday after police officers found him inside his running SUV parked in a garage, apparently attempting to kill himself.
The Associated Press, citing the arrest report, states officers removed McShane from the vehicle and later found the body of his wife, Kristen McShane, in the couple's bed covered with a comforter.
According to the report, McShane told police that he logged onto his wife's Facebook account and posted that she had dropped her phone in the toilet so that family and friends wouldn't worry if she didn't respond to phone calls or text messages.
McShane has been charged with second-degree murder and domestic battery by strangulation.
