A movie event is taking place this month that's never been done in the history of cinema.

Woody Harrelson directs and stars in "Lost in London," the first feature film airing "live" on the big screen. The Oscar-nominated actor is joined by Willie Nelson and Owen Wilson for the Jan. 19 event that he fears could be "a disaster."

News 13 had the chance to chat one-on-one with the star. Here is a slice of the conversation:

ALLISON WALKER TORRES: So, you're the writer and director and star of "Lost in London." How on Earth can you be acting "live" and calling out commands? How does this happen?

WOODY HARRELSON: Well, you know, we've been working on this a long time. A lot of rehearsal... At the time I had the idea of shooting this story in 100 minutes — it wasn't even possible. So then I thought, Oh my God! Could you actually shoot something and while shooting it, live-stream it into the cinemas? And then that was: I wished to God I'd never had that thought. Boy, has that caused me some sleepless nights.

AWT: You're giving me anxiety and I'm not even involved in this thing.

WH: The anxiety is crazy!

AWT: The crew, the actors, the extras — they're all probably used to multiple takes. Who's freaking you out the most at this point? What about Willie Nelson?

WH: Ah, Willie hasn't gotten here yet. He might freak me out once he gets here. But he's such a good buddy of mine. He's pretty solid. He's a consummate professional. Although, he does do some extracurricular things I'm going to have to caution him about. And then you've got Owen Wilson who is a true professional and is really coming up with great ideas. There are 30 actors in this — mostly English — and they're so good. But I'd have to say the person I'm most concerned about is me. I'm really having a hard time getting into character, which is odd since I'm playing myself. ... Yeah, this could be a disaster.

AWT: Are you in soundstages or are you actually out in London?

WH: We're out in London. We're out on the street a lot, we're in a nightclub, we're in four different vehicles, we're in a restaurant, we're in a theater. Let me tell you something. This is flying by the seat of the pants. It's a crazy, crazy notion that I wish I could have expunged from my brain and never had!

AWT: While I have you, and between you and me, are you perhaps playing a mentor to Han Solo in the new Han Solo movie?

WH: Ah yeah, you know what? I did hear something — yeah, I see what you're referring to. The Force is telling me not to speak about these matters.

AWT: And scene.

"Lost in London" takes place "live" at 9 p.m. Jan. 19 in select theaters. A "live" Q&A with Woody Harrelson takes place immediately after the movie.
