Things are warming back up for Central Florida. Here's the weather forecast:

  • Highs will dance between the upper 60s, lower 70s
  • An isolated shower or two possible
  • No cold fronts in the extended forecast
  • SEE BELOW: See our 7-day forecast

Plenty of sunshine and chilly temperatures started our Tuesday, but we were able to warm to around 70 degrees during the afternoon.

While most were dry, a few showers were able to move inland off of the Atlantic. There will continue to be a slight chance for rain overnight and into Wednesday, but most will be dry and warm.

Partly cloudy skies will continue overnight. While the majority of the showers offshore will wind down early, we'll still keep a slim chance for a stray shower to brush the coast. There is enough moisture around that patchy fog will be possible early Wednesday morning. Temperatures will be cool, dropping into the mid to low 50s.

After a cool start to our Wednesday, temperatures will warm to the mid to upper 70s for the afternoon. Areas inland will see mostly sunny skies, but a few more clouds and a slight chance for showers will continue along the east coast. No major changes are expected the rest of the week with plenty of sunshine and highs around 80 degrees.

The easterly winds are also creating some rough ocean conditions. The water will remain choppy with a high rip current risk.
