Several events are taking place Friday and throughout the weekend to honor those who lost their lives:

All proceeds benefit the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation

Orange County
- 9/11 Remembrance and Candlelight Ceremony
Orlando firefighters will honor the victims of the Sept. 11 attacks by planting flags and lighting candles
Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts (front lawn), Orlando

Volusia County
- 9/11 Never Forget Ceremony
American flags will be on display to honor the victims and heroes of the Sept. 11 attacks.
