Two Lake County high school students were arrested Friday after deputies say they wore masks from the movie "The Purge: Anarchy" while scaring other students on campus.

The South Lake High students were wearing the masks and scaring other students as they were getting out of their vehicles or walking to school buildings, the Lake County Sheriff's Office said in a news release.

One of the students, an 18-year-old, received a misdemeanor citation for violating Florida statute 876.20, Wearing Mask to Intimidate. The other, a juvenile, was referred to a Sheriff's Office diversionary program.
