Florida Highway Patrol has shut down westbound State Road 50 near I-95 because of smoke from a 400-acre brush fire.
The Florida Forestry Service says the fire is causing a lot of smoke which is impacting visibility.
The FFS originally said hotels in the area may be evacuated because of the fire. The agency now says the fire is 30 percent contained.
FFS also says the fire is now being referred to as the "Old 50" brush fire. We were originally told the fire would be called the Hacienda fire.
