As voters get ready for the first presidential debate of 2016, representatives from both sides of the presidential race will be visiting Central Florida this week.

  • Kaine will visit Lakeland, Orlando on Monday
  • Trump will hold a rally in Melbourne on Tuesday
  • First presidential debate takes place Monday night

Hillary Clinton’s vice presidential running mate Tim Kaine will visit Lakeland and Orlando on Monday. He'll first speak at the Lakeland Center at 12:15 p.m. Kaine will then travel to Orlando for a roundtable with Latino faith leaders.

Later in the day, Kaine will be at an LGBT debate watch party for Monday’s debate.

Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump has scheduled a visit to Melbourne on Tuesday. The rally will take place at Orlando Melbourne International Airport at 7 p.m.

The first presidential debate will be held at Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY, beginning at 9 p.m.
