Here's what you need to know about Central Florida area weather for the weekend:

Temperatures have jumped back up to around 90 degrees again this afternoon with the humidity making it feel more like the mid to upper 90s. We’ve already seen a few showers and storms developing and the chance for more rain will continue through sunset. An approaching front will keep the weather unsettled this week, but will help to knock highs back closer to average.

Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast through the overnight hours. Temperatures will be mild, falling into the mid to lower 70s. Watch for some patchy fog early Monday morning.

While Monday will not be a complete washout, there is a slightly higher chance for afternoon showers and storms. Some storms may hold heavy rain and frequent lightning. Temperatures will back off a degree or two, but will still be hot in the upper 80s to around 90 degrees. A front will begin to move in as we head toward mid-week. This front will keep our weather unsettled with a decent chance for rain through Thursday. This front will also help to lower temperatures even more; mid to upper 80s for highs and low around 70 degrees.

In the tropics, both Karl and Lisa have weakened to a post-tropical low and are no longer a concern. We are, however, watching an area of low pressure east of the Lesser Antilles. This low will most likely become a tropical system this week. When it does, it will be given the name Matthew. This system is close to two weeks away from being a problem for the United States, if it were to take that path. There is a lot of uncertainty for now since this storm has not even developed. Something we will need to watch, though, as it moves west.
