Noon

Thousands of Duke energy customers are without power in the Ocala and Marion County areas. Check the outage map below for details.

9:30 a.m.

Lake County Emergency Management reported scattered outages and wires down overnight, but everything had returned to normal Friday morning.

8 a.m.

Marion County reported scattered outages from Duke Energy, Sumter Electric, Clay Electric and the City of Ocala.

 


Thursday

10:39 p.m.

About 22,000 Duke customers are without power, with the majority of those customers are in Pinellas and Pasco counties, stated Duke Energy. 

8:49 p.m.

According to the National Weather Service, about 650 residents in Bushnell and Center Hill areas in Sumter County are without power.

For those who have experienced an outage, Duke Energy issued the following statement.

For those who wish to report an outage, Duke suggested its customers can also go here.

For Orlando Utilities Commission customers, they can find an interactive map as well further down the article. The OUC also gave information on how to report outages.

"If you need to report an outage, call Customer Service at 407-423-9018 (24 hours) in Orlando/Orange County and 407-957-7373 (24 hours) in St. Cloud/Osceola County," it stated on its website.

SECO Energy has an interactive map of outages and help information on its site.

Based off of the maps, power outages are low for Central Florida, but those numbers can change at anytime.
