Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a fatal crash on I-95 near Daytona Beach that involved a single car leaving the roadway and striking a tree.
Troopers say the accident occurred just 6 p.m. The car was traveling northbound on I-95 approaching the exit to LPGA Boulevard (MM 265).
Officials confirmed that two people in the car were pronounced dead at the scene.
No other information has been released at this time. The investigation is ongoing.
