Four of the turtles were released at James H. Nance Park in Indialantic this morning by members of SeaWorld's Animal Rescue Team.  The remaining three turtles were released at Sebastian Inlet State Park.

A couple of the turtles were injured after becoming entangled in fishing line. One was treated for an injured flipper, and the others were in poor health.

A large crowd gathered on the beach at Nance Park to welcome the turtles’ return.

“It’s good to get them back out here," said SeaWorld Orlando's Dan Conklin. "Hopefully they will live a long, healthy life, and come back to the beach and lay eggs."

The Brevard County-based Sea Turtle Preservation Society originally rescued the turtles and took them to SeaWorld for help.
