The Orlando Police Department said investigators found additional dismembered body parts along the shoreline of the lake. The crime scene stretched from across the southern shoreline from the boat ramp to the west edge of the lake.

The victim hasn't been identified but is described as a female in her early 30s and weighing more than 200 pounds.

Detectives think the victim was placed in the water sometime between the evening of Aug. 21 and the morning of Aug. 22.

Officials added that they have ruled out the possibility that the woman’s body drifted from across the lake and are now focusing specifically on the area from the boat ramp to Palmer Street. On Tuesday, investigators went door to door talking to neighbors, trying to piece together any helpful observations.

“Lake Underhill has been a well-known spot to come to work out and it’s packed most of the time,” Pamela Lawson said during her workout along the lake.

But fewer people were working out at the lake Tuesday.

“I was surprised to come down here and find out there was a dead body in the lake,” trainer Daniel Adams said.

“I’m with a trainer so I think that I’m pretty safe,” Lawson said. “I don’t come out here at night.”

The victim has not yet been identified, but she was believed to be wearing a green muddied tank top, which was recovered at the crime scene.

The Orlando Police Department said she was a black woman in her early 30s, approximately 5’7” to 5’10 and weighed over 200 pounds.

The Joint Homicide Investigative Team says they have not found a match in the missing persons database and so far no one has come forward looking for a similar family member.

As of right now, Orlando police tell News 13 there is no indication that this case is related to the case of Ethel Shannon McCarson, whose body was found partially dismembered in a wooded area off Old Winter Garden Road back in April.
