A 70-year-old man was transported to the hospital after he was shot by his 42-year-old son, according to Orange County Sheriff’s deputies.
It happened at a home on the 2100 block of Veranda Circle on Sunday.
So far detectives believe the incident started as a verbal domestic altercation that escalated.
The father was taken to Orlando Regional Medical Center with a serious, but non-life threatening injury.
So far there have not been any arrests; deputies said all parties are cooperating.
