A death investigation is underway in Orange County after a man was found with a life-threatening wound, according to the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Deputies found Richard Marcano Trinidad, 35, just after 9:30 p.m. Friday in the 10500 block of Cherry Oak Circle in the Sun Crest subdivision.
Trinidad was taken to Florida Hospital East, where he later died, deputies said.
A woman at the scene was detained, deputies said.
The investigation remains ongoing.
