Osceola County sheriff's detectives have confirmed the identity of two people involved in a murder-suicide that happened Friday.
- Daniel Carrero was 16-year veteran of Seminole sheriff's office
- Murder-suicide occured in Kissimmee
Authorities said Daniel Carrero, 40, shot and killed Mistie D. Reynolds, 33, before turning the gun on himself.
Carrero was a 16-year veteran of the Seminole County Sheriff's Office. He worked in the digital forensics unit.
The incident occurred at 2294 E. Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee.
At that location, a Speedway employee told police there were two deceased individuals in a vehicle behind the business.
