A report came in just before noon of a suspicious package in a Port Canaveral terminal, which was evacuated, the U.S. Coast Guard said. The agency then set a security zone around Port Canaveral.

A robot was used to check for a suspicious object in the terminal.

Just after 2:30 p.m., the Coast Guard tweeted that the package was determined not to be a threat and took down the security zone.

Visitors have been allowed back into the terminal, the Coast Guard said.
