National Dance Day – The Dizzy Feet Foundation established this day -- July 30 -- to increase access to dance education in the United States. As part of its support, the foundation produces and distributes instructional videos featuring dance routines for the public to learn for fun. Free classes will be offered throughout the day at:

  • Emotions Dance Studio, 105 Melody Lane West, Casselberry
  • Studio K, 11951 International Drive South, Orlando
  • Marshall Ellis Dance School, 1300 La Quinta Drive, Orlando

Orlando's Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts will serve as the central location for the event, with programs from 8:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Non-dancers and dancers alike can participate in the day's official routine, which will be led by Cyrus "Glitch" Spencer from TV's "So You Think You Can Dance."

GeekyCon
– GeekyCon is described as a fan convention that values creativity and community over commercialism. They don't charge for autographs or photographs. Instead, they give their attendees and special guests an exciting space to geek out together about the books, games, TV, film and web series’ we all love.

Pulse Victims Fundraising Bowling Tournament – Boardwalk Bowl is hosting is hosting a bowling tournament to raise money for Pulse victims.
