An Apopka man is facing multiple sexual battery charges after being accused of raping a neighbor's son.

Keith Francis De Somer, 55, of Apopka is charged with two counts of sexual battery on a child 12 years old or older and three counts of lewd and lascivious molestation.
According to Apopka Police, the boy and his mom came to the police department July 22 to report the rape and were individually interviewed.
An arrest affidavit said the boy told his mother he was sexually molested by De Somer on June 30. That evening, the boy said he was outside when De Somer yelled out, "Hey, can you help me with this thing?" The boy walked onto De Somer's patio to help, he said, and De Somer touched him inappropriately, then raped him.
The boy said he was unable to say no or stop due to being "in shock," the affidavit said. The boy identified De Somer to police from photo lineup, it said.
De Somer has bonded out of the Orange County Jail.
