Let's see what the weekend forecast looks like for Central Florida:

  • Clouds decrease in overnight hours
  • Clear skies toward daybreak
  • Temperatures in the mid to low 90s Monday

Only a few isolated showers and storms to round out the weekend as high temperatures climbed into the mid to low 90s Sunday afternoon.  We had some drier air in place over the weekend that not only kept rain chances low, but dropped our humidity back slightly. Moisture returns Monday, increasing rain chances and humidity right back up for the start of our work week.

Clouds will decrease through the overnight hours. Expect mostly clear skies as we head toward daybreak with warm temperatures in the mid-70s.

Monday will begin with plenty of sunshine, but scattered afternoon storms will impact the rest of the day. Temperatures will be in the mid to low 90s with triple digit heat index numbers. We’ll keep a decent chance for storms through mid-week and temperatures remain hot and humid.

In the tropics, no tropical development is expected in the next five days.
