Hillary Clinton's pick for vice president is the safe source: Virginia Sen. Tim Kaine.

Clinton picked Kaine to be her running mate Friday.

Clinton was supposed to announce the pick via text and Twitter this afternoon. Sources close to the campaign said the announcement and also of a joint appearance in Miami were "in flux" because of the Munich attack.

Kaine tweeted that he was honored to join the campaign and would be with Clinton in Miami on Saturday.

Clinton rallies in Tampa, heads to Miami

Clinton rallied thousands in Tampa Friday and used the campaign stop to criticize Republicans for a Republican National Convention that spent so much time on her.

"I found it perversely flattering," Clinton said.

Clinton said the "dark and divisive" vision of future pushed by Donald Trump and other speakers did not represent real America and offered no solutions.

In the speech she discussed the roundtable she held in Orlando regarding the Pulse attacks at length. She loved the discussions and calls for unity and an end to divisiveness.

Her rally speech did not talk much about policy, other than a need to rein in assault weapons.

Clinton is hosting a rally in Miami on Saturday.

She attended a roundtable meeting in Orlando today.

Clinton said that the Pulse nightclub shooting was an attack on the Latino and LGBT community.

"We have to stand against hate and bigotry," she said.

Clinton hosted the roundtable discussion at the Holden Community Center with community leaders, including Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer.

Some of the suggestions, according to Clinton, are dealing with the country's gun violence and assault weapons and the dismatling of a global network that influences people to committ terror attacks.

She also visited the Pulse nightclub.

On Saturday Clinton will host a rally in Miami at Florida International University. That rally is expected to begin at noon, with the doors opening at 10 a.m. Those interested in attending can head to the Clinton website.
