An investigation is underway after three people were found shot to death Sunday inside an extended-stay hotel room in Altamonte Springs.

The bodies of two men and one woman were found Sunday afternoon at the Remington Inn and Suites located along Douglas Avenue. Management discovered the bodies.

Police said it was a triple homicide and no gun was found at the scene.

The three have been identified as Charles Simms Jr., 37; Germaine D. Seamus, 38; and Lisa Robbins, 49.

"I heard screams at around 3 a.m." said Shay Bautista, a nearby tenant. "This guy says he heard someone banging on the door around 3 a.m. saying let him in and then after, that it went quiet."

Remington Inn and Suites offers short- and long-term leases.

Police said they don't believe the bodies had been there for long.

"If they saw anything suspicious, heard anything suspicious, whether it be yelling, tire squealing, please contact the Altamonte Springs Police Department because we definitely want to find out what happened here," said Lt. Robert Pelton, a spokesman with the Altamonte Springs Police Department.
