Five people were injured in a construction accident on International Drive in Orlando early Tuesday morning, Orlando Fire Department told News 13.

At around 2:30 a.m., while working on a building at 5374 International Drive, workers were pouring concrete on the fifth floor when support beams gave way and there was a floor collapse, both according to the Orlando Fire Department and the Orlando Police Department.

"The workers fell approximately 8-12 feet to the floor below," Lt. Miguel Garcia of the Orlando Police Department stated in a press release.

Only three of the five workers were transported to local hospitals with minor injuries. No firefighters were hurt.

OSHA and Code Enforcement were notified.
