Sanford Police are looking for a man they say was one of two people who dropped off a man who had been shot in front of a hospital's emergency doors.

Kobe Deron Hunter is being sought in connection with the homicide of Daquan McClain.

McClain, who was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest, was left by the emergency doors of Central Florida Regional Hospital by two people on June 17, detectives say. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

The time and location where the shooting took place is still under investigation.

Police say Hunter was one of the people who dropped him off. Hunter is known to frequent the Washington Oaks Area in Sanford and is being sought by Sanford investigators for questioning.

The other man is described as having shoulder-length dreads. He was wearing a graphic T-shirt and basketball-style shorts, investigators say, and they are asking for the public's help in identifying him.
