A pedestrian was struck and killed early Saturday morning in Orlando, according to the Orlando Police Department.

Patrol units responded to a vehicle vs. pedestrian call at about 2:07 a.m. at the intersection of Curry Ford Road and Woodgate Boulevard.

A vehicle was traveling eastbound on Curry Ford Road when it hit a man who was not at an intersection, according to officers.

The man, whose identity has not been released, died at the scene. Officers say it appears the man was at fault.

Curry Ford Road was closed for about three hours while the investigation was conducted.

No other information has been released at this time.
