The Mount Dora Police Department is investigating an overnight shooting in which a man had to be airlifted to a hospital.

At about 9:30 p.m. Thursday, 36-year-old Richard Roy Manor, of 750 East Jackson Ave., was shot three times in his side at his front door, police said.

Manor was airlifted to Orlando Regional Medical Center. His condition is unknown at this time.

Officials said that the Mount Dora man has a criminal history of burglary and aggravated assault with a weapon with no intent to kill.
