Here's what you need to know about Central Florida's weather for the rest of the weekend:

  • Nice weekend ahead
  • Finally warming up
  • Showers possible late Monday

We had plenty of sunshine to start the weekend, but temperatures fell back into the 60s following a cold front early Saturday morning. We’ll warm back up to around 70 degrees over the next couple days ahead of a system that will bring showers late Monday and into Tuesday.

Skies will be mainly clear overnight with only a few clouds showing up along the coast. Temperatures will be chilly, with a decent northerly wind pulling in some cold air. Lows will be in the mid to upper 40s.

Our Valentine’s Day will be pretty quiet, with mostly sunny skies and temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will be switching to the east throughout the day, so an isolated coastal shower will be possible.

Another system will move in on Monday. Rain chances and the potential for a few storms will arrive Monday night and into early Tuesday.

Unfavorable boating conditions will continue through Sunday, and boaters should exercise caution.
