Lane closure will alter access to ORMC emergency department

Orlando Health officials want people to be aware of a temporary lane closure that will affect access to the Orlando Regional Medical Center emergency department.

The westernmost lane of Orange Avenue and adjacent parking spaces, from Underwood Street to Sturtevant Street, will be closed at 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14. 

Crews will be resurfacing the lane and completing underground utility work.

The ORMC emergency department will not be accessible from the Orange Avenue-Sturtevant Street intersection.

The lane closure will also impact access to the Orlando Health downtown campus. It will be not be accessible from Orange Avenue-Underwood intersection.

The lane will reopen at 6 a.m. Monday, Feb. 15.
