The cost to visit Universal's theme parks is slightly more expensive now.

Universal increased its one-day ticket prices Wednesday, the first increase since February 2015.

A single day ticket to either Universal Studios or Islands of Adventure is now $105, a $3 increase.

A one-day park-to-park pass is now $155, up from $147. Annual passholder tickets remain the same.

Universal is not commenting on the ticket increase. However, the resort is in the midst of a building blitz. Among the projects currently going on at Universal:

Universal raised parking prices several months ago to $20 a car. Florida residents can park for free after 6 p.m.

Last year Universal's price increase coincided with a price increase at Walt Disney World. Disney raised annual pass prices last October.
