We are in for a chilly night across Central Florida. Here's the weather forecast for Friday night and the weekend:

  • Lows in the 30s and 40s overnight
  • Temps back to around 70 on Saturday
  • SEE BELOW: See our 7-day forecast

We are going to turn colder overnight with temperatures dipping into the upper 40s for most with a few upper 30s possible in our northern counties.

It's also going to remain a bit breezy with winds around 15-20 mph under a partly cloudy sky.

We will have a bit more sun as temperatures warm to near 70 degrees by Saturday afternoon. Our wind will be shifting out of the northeast and gust around 20 mph.

North wind will continue to bring cooler air into Central Florida overnight, allowing for our temperatures to fall into the 40s by early Saturday morning.

Wind will be shifting more out of the northeast Saturday afternoon, but it will remain breezy with gusts up to 20-25 mph at times. We will have more sunshine than Friday with clouds in and out throughout the day, especially along the coast once our wind starts to shift.

Highs Saturday will get back to near 70 degrees and then warm into the mid to upper 70s on Sunday. Early next week, we will warm back into the lower 80s with isolated showers possible.

Surf conditions will be poor again Saturday with wave heights running 3-4 feet. The rip current threat is moderate and the water temperature is about 70 degrees at Daytona Beach and 73 degrees at Cocoa Beach.
