Central Florida is in store for a beautiful weekend. Here's the forecast:

  • Partly cloudy skies Sunday morning
  • Lows overnight fall only to around 60
  • Highs Sunday in the upper 70s

It was a great start to the weekend with plenty of sunshine and seasonable temperatures. Highs Saturday afternoon reached only into the mid-70s.

We’ll stay dry for the end of the weekend, but temperatures will start to warm back up. An approaching system will also start to increase rain chances on Monday.

Clouds will increase slightly overnight and we’re looking at partly cloudy skies heading into Sunday morning. Temperatures will not be as cool, falling to only around 60 degrees.

As winds switch to the southeast on Sunday, temperatures will be able to gradually warm back up. Highs will make it into the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.

It will be dry for one more day, but that will change Monday. An approaching area of low pressure will bring a chance for showers late Monday and then a decent chance for showers and even a few storms Tuesday.

This front, along with another front on Thursday, will be responsible for a big drop in temperatures by the end of the week.
